I am a WAHM to 3 beautiful Daughters; Josephine Aiyana (4.5), Cynthianna Marie(3), Charline Evelyhn(7mo.), and a step-daughter Jessica Leighann(19 and getting married this month).
I'm new to this so please excuse me while I work out HC and ordering hiccups!
I started this buisness to bring in some much needed income to the family, while at the same time staying at home with my little ones to ensure they have the best care possible. I am formerly an EMT, but alas us EMT's have crazy scheduals and with one parent already with a crazy schedual (Hubby has been in the Navy for 19 years), it was not feesable to put the kids through such unstability if we did not have too. Plus childcare is EXPENSIVE! I probably wouldn't even make enough to cover it. So, I bought the Cuddlebuns pattern to make some dipes for my little one as it is getting increasingly difficult to wrestle her into prefolds. I found a knack at making them. I applied for the licence and within a few days became a new CuddleWAHM. Which, excites me to be able to make these beautiful dipes and play with fabrics that I normally wouldn't be able to afford, and maybe make a little from it.
Where'd the name come from? Well, in my family once a baby hits that age around 5 months where they seem to have a never ending supply of drool running down thier face, they are lovingly refered to as "a little drool bucket." When deciding on a name for the buisness I was drawing on pet names we call our children. There was Chunky Monkey, and Cunkalunk, Drool Bucket and Smiley... Hey since Chunky Monkey is already taken, Drool Bucket fits! It's a little unique maybe to my regional area of where I grew up (Maine) or maybe even just my family (which is so large it may as well be the geographical area).
Know that all products here (even seconds) are made with the love that I put into making them for my own little one. Honestly, I'm "making them for her" and selling the extras! You can bet my little one will probably have at least one of most prints advertised here.
I will strive to give the best quality and best customer service available. I was brought up with the old adage "If it's not worth doing right, it's not worth doing at all!" My parents raised me to be honest and hard-working. I hope my business reflects that. If not, feel free to let me know!
As of July, Stocking may be a little slow. I have a wedding in Colorado to attend on the 26th and we are leaving the 22nd and won't be back until Aug. 1st. During this time the store will be shut down. I do not want to leave anyone anxiously waiting for me to send a package, as I know how it is to be the one receiving the fluffy mail!
I plan on shipping on Mon. Wed. and Fri. each week. If shipping through USPS I will try to have them pick it up, if not it will be mailed on the above days. If ordering a large quantity and it's cheaper for me to send UPS or Fed Ex. (as I offer free shipping I will go the cheapest route unless you are willing to pay for expedited shipping) I will make a special run that week. I do have 3 children under the age of 5 so please allow a day or so for me to do that!
Thank you and Welcome to my store!
~Amanda
